First appearance of the Mallet.
Big hammers have been a comic staple since Steamboat Willie.

And every now and again, you get a customer that can only be properly helped
by flattening his crown a bit with a big hammer...

Or at least using a big hammer to fix his marker...
... that he swears he didn't touch... except the valve in in backwards... and the barrel is loctited on...
